Web Proxy Service
«

I'm trying to enable a Web Proxy, but my configuration settings are not saving after I click on apply. After applying all the changes and navigating to a different window, the proxy settings are reset to default.
Any idea why this is happening?
I am using the Opnsense gui to configure the firewall.
Thanks!

this sounds like a validation error - have you checked all form pages for red error strings?

Where can I view these error strings? Is there a conf file I can look at? The documentation shows the IDS service as a simple configuration, but nothing saves and IDS never shows running.
I am new to Opnsense, so any helpful advise or tips would be greatly appreciated!

In the worst case you can open the developer tools of your browser and open the network tab. Then you can inspect the response which should contain an error message.
