Edit/create firewall rules via CLI 17.7

Greetings,

I have seen in a few old subject like this one : https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=3553.0 that in version 17.7 we would see CLI  firewall rules editing.

- Is it available ?
if YES, How do we edit a rules ?
if NO, Is it comming soon ?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, however I could not find anything through my forum search.

There is discussion here: https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/1858

The short version: API for aliases may make it into the 18.1 roadmap. A lot still needs to be cleaned up. All help is welcome.
