Greetings all!

I have problem mentioned in topic that I have experienced with single SSD. Shutdown or reboot wont affect to machine and it hangs when it shows "uptime". Any directions where I could start looking the problem? (I have used OPNsense earlier in virtual environment and it worked perfectly).

Current hardware is:
Core i7 6700T
Gigabyte GA-z270n-wifi
16gm DDR4 2133MHz ram
Toshiba 256Gb SSD
2x MOBO intel nics I219 and I211
1x server grade gigabit ethernet pci-e card with 4x nics

Installed in UEFI/GPT mode.

Could that problem be because of some C-states in BIOS?

Another problem I have had in hardware installation is if I try to use geom mirror. Installation and running works perfectly, but if I try to do system shutdown, system hangs when system says "opnsense geom_mirror: opnsense mirror destroyed". Any thoughts for that?

I have the same problem with an

MSI B250
i5-7400
Transcend SSD 64GB SDD370S

i also install an pfsense 2.3.4 on the same mashine. There was no problem. reboot/shutdown works fine

I have the same problem now - we're you able to solve this?

I'm having the same issue with this hardware:
Protectli FW6C
CPU: Intel i5-7200U
RAM: 8GB

Config = very basic config from the install wizard (WAN,LAN, OPT1-4)
I have applied all updates, and the issues still exists.
Here is the version info:
OPNsense 17.7.11-amd64
FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-p17
OpenSSL 1.0.2n 7 Dec 2017

Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips to suggest?

Note: Fixed in OPNsense 18.1 Beta -- I tried the 18.1 Beta and it does not have the hang on reboot issue.
Does anyone know if there is a config change that could be applied to 17.7 to get reboot to work on 17.7 without hanging, or is the fix possibly the fact that 18.1b uses FreeBSD 11.1 and that resolved the issue?

I'm experiencing the same problem.
Even right after installation, my computer does not go into reboot.
But I experience the problem more seriously, after several forced reboots, my SSD disk stops responding right after the bluetooth driver is launched.

With the progenitor (PFSENSE), everything is fine in this place, there are no such problems.

This was a problem with FreeBSD 11.0. We're updating to 11.1 end of this month, where a lot of people already confirmed it working fine.

Cheers,
Franco
