Hi,

I found that I had two instances of chronyd running.  I killed one of them --- strangely I had to use kill -9 for it.

Ntpd is also running.  That can't be good, can it?

What can I do to fix this?

chrony isn't installed by default, but there is a community plugin for it. If you install that, I think you'd need to disable ntpd by unchecking all of the servers (haven't tried it) :- https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=32736.0

Thanks, that seems to have worked :)

I have two processes as well but one runs as root and one runs as user chronyd.  On non-linux systems this is expected:  https://chrony-project.org/faq.html section 2.5 (search for the word process).
