Issue upgrading from 26.7.1_1 to latest release

Anyone else had any issues upgrading and it not being anything already mentioned in the forum? Loading kernel.old doesnt help, only rebooting to a snapshot before upgrading to 26.7.2_2 get my Opnsense up and running again. I had set firmware setting to a specific mirror, but set it back to default and it still get kernel panic after trying to update again

CPU: Intel N100

Kernel: 15.1-RELEASE-p1

Installed OPNsense package: 26.7.1_1
No microcode or Realtek add-on package

Looks like the "init" never materialised on the disk after extraction. It's not possible to recover from this.

Quickest way is to reinstall with the 26.7 image and use the importer to retain your old settings.

Thank you for confirming the fix. I encountered the same problem today when upgrading my primary Opnsense firewall from 26.7.1 to 26.7.2_2 via the GUI. Reinstalling with the release 26.7 image, using importer to restore my configuration, upgrading via the GUI to release 26.7.2_2 and reinstalling my Plugins resolved the problem.

I did not encounter any problems when upgrading from 26.7.1 to 26.7.2_2 via the GUI on my backup Opnsense firewall.  It has the same configuration except different interface names and no Zenarmor (os-sensei) Plugin.

I went in the same error(s).
26.7.1 to 26.7.2_2
and now again with 26.7.2_2 to 26.7.3

i have a HA cluster and all machines get this faults.
That is realy not nice. I think it is zenarmour. But i do not know how i can proof it without a complety new install.
In that state a quick update is impossible and i have to spend at least one hour for the recovery in total (per machine and update)
