OpenVPN settings missing?

Trying to set up an OpenVPN server and like many things that have changed in the UI recently, I am not finding many settings that are outlined in tutorials like this one. For example, there are no longer settings in the server setup for TLS authentication & Encryption algorithm, setting up a user no longer offers the option to create the certificate at the time of creation, etc. It looks like the server is getting authentication settings from the cert itself, and manually setting up a certificate for the user appears to work.
Am I correct to assume that these changes are intentional and designed to streamline the workflow and get rid of places where you could accidentally create conflicting settings? I am new to OPNsense so it's disorienting to find undocumented changes and want to confirm I am not missing something.
