DNS flooding to pkg.opnsense.org & opn-repo.routerperformance.net

I've recently noticed my DNS logs are getting flooded by OPNsense to pkg.opnsense.org & opn-repo.routerperformance.net

These both happen every 30 seconds or so. Why so often? I can't find a way of changing the interval or stopping the auto checks.
