Protectli FW6E cannot get console on USB after bootup....I do on bootup

Hello, I am trying to get console on this unit.  When I plug the USB console into my Win10 PC, my system enumerates COM5. On bootup, I see all the console messages, But once the system is booted, I cannot interact with the console. I hit enter several times to get a prompt and nothing.  The last messages I see are the interfaces coming online and my HTTPS and SSH  SHA256 config.

I am using putty if that makes a difference.

Did you enable the serial console in the OPNsense UI?

Yes it is enabled.
I dont think I would get the bootup messages via console if it wasnt.
So I am getting to the console fine, I just dont get a prompt to issue any commands.

My own Vault hangs just like you describe if I have the VGA console enabled at all.  I run mine with just the serial console.

Not sure if that translates to your device but worth a look...

Also, make sure 'USB-based serial' is unchecked.
