Downloading the 26.1 dvd image (ISO) and importing it to Rufus works for you people?

Checksum is correct.
Tried 2 Windows machines.
Last 2 versions of Rufus.

I downloaded OPNsense-26.1-vga-amd64.img.bz2 and extracted the contents and used it with Rufus.

UEFI booted without any problem.

The question is about the dvd/iso file not the img.

I want to see if there is an issue or it's just me.

Why are you writing the ISO and not the IMG file with Rufus? The DVD image is as far as I know strictly for DVD, not for USB media.

I remember all my life writing the dvd/iso file to USB drives. Maybe I am mistaken with opnsense and I have always used the img file.

I don't particularly care which file I will use, I just found it odd.

Thank you for the link. It seems it's a well-known peculiarity of the opnsense image. All good.
