Just wanted to chime in to say kudos to Franco for having the courage to overhaul dhcp6c. It's been a long-neglected part of the nix/bsd universe and was in need of some tlc. It just staggers me that this hasn't happened already at an industry level

Thanks! Traction for our dhcp6c is still low anywhere lese but the problems don't seem to be piling up so we're in for the long game here. FreeBSD also still doesn't offer DHCPv6 client in base for example.  ;)

The second part of CFT will wait for 26.1.3 as we're merging the dhcp6c_script use into one single non-generated script for (much easier) maintenance (also only possible by advancing dhcp6c a tiny bit by offering an IFNAME environment variable to the script).
