We use DNSCrypt-Proxy instead of Unbound so it would be nice if we could also use the Q-Feeds blocklist there.

Hi VPX,

Thank you for this Idea! We will investigate the possibility in the upcoming weeks. I noticed that it already has DNSBL functionality so that could be an easy implementation.. we will get back to you!

Good news, we expect to launch support for DNSCrypt-proxy in the next release (Plugin v1.4).

Great, thank you, our update scheme is delayed by one cycle (still at 25.4) to have the most stable version. I hope it will be included in OPNsense Business 25.10.2 when we update later in March.

The Q-Feeds domain blocklist is now visible in the DNSCrypt-Proxy DNSBL.

Am I good with just checking it in DNSCrypt-Proxy or do I also have to check the "Register domain feeds" checkbox in Q-Feeds Connect?

I'm just asking because the description only mentions the "Unbound DNS blocklist" so I'm not sure if it is exclusively for Unbound or you just forgot to change the description?

Oops indeed forgot to change the description.. The Register domains needs to be enabled.

EDIT: Created a Pull Request on Github to fix this both in the OPNsense docs as within the plugin.
