Hello!

Since exactely 0:00 tonight I got a problem which leaves me completely clueless:

My config consists of severel VLANs and VPN.
All the VLAN and VPN works as usual.
BUT: from my base LAN all the suden OPNsense refuses any access. No access to the config WEB, no routing to anywhere, not even a ping to OPNsense itselve - while DHCP on the LAN still works.

This now leaves me completely clueless.
Any hints?

Well, getting more strange:

After I'm now trying to chase down the problem it is gone all the sudden as it came, without any change.
And no, it was not only one device, it was all in this network ...

Speechless

Any cron jobs running at midnight?

Cheers
Maurice

When I look at your VPN configuration, I think that might be because of a nightly connection drop in one or both of your VPNs.

You have overlapping networks 10/8 for your LAN and 10.11/16 plus 10.10/16 for your VPNs. Whenever those networks switch state, the routing tables and pf states will be changed and that may have adverse effects.

Best practice would suggest to change your LAN to 10.x/16 to avoid the overlap.

Strenge thing i had the same thij yesterday.

Exept my opnsense box would not connect to the internet anymore. First time in 5 years for me. This happend after the latest update. I want away on its own after a few hours. I can not find out what happent....... now its runnig fine again.

Ps.

Ping from command line inside opnsense gave me access denied.

It was verry strenge.

@meyergru: LAN allready is configured as 10.1.1.1/22 - so this can't be the reason.
