Updated from RC2 and dev kernel to 24.7 Release with no issues/crashes

Same experience here. Running in a VM as a test environment.

Updated to Release and all good. Been rocking 24.7 since beta days. Great release!

Updated my proxmox test VM and it went ok...

will update the main router as soon as the update path is available.

Thank you

Updated the 2nd node of my 2-node HA/CARP cluster from 24.1.10_3 to 24.7r1, then to r2, today to 24.7.  No problems with the upgrade, or CARP/HA.  The 2nd node is normally the standby node however since the updates, I've been forcing it to be the primary.  No problems at all.
Dual Virtual OPNsense on PVE with HA via CARP
Node 1: OPNsense 24.7.3_1 - Protectli Vault FW6E (i7)
Node 2: OPNsense 24.7.3_1 - Qotom-Q555G6-S05 (i5)

Absolutely smooth here too. No issues with LAGG, Vlans, wireguard and openvpn. All working without a hitch. A big WELL DONE ! Not a single issue

Networking is love. You may hate it, but in the end, you always come back to it.

Upgraded a test VM from RC2 to 24.7 stable, all working very well. The new dashboard needs a bit to get used to after years of using the old one, but I totally love it.

Well done OPN team!

P.S. vicuna theme looks so slick on the new GUI.

S.

tnx mate

Upgraded the main box and is working fine.

Tested almost everything and is functional.

Was able to replicate the old dashboard layout with some minor differences, but it looks very very good.

Clean installation of Opnsense 24.7

When I tried to install using UFS I got errors in several files and it was impossible to install it with that system. I installed it with zfs and everything was fine.

The new interface is very nice but the widgets can not be resized.

The firewall widget is a graph and I liked the previous system better where you could see the ips that were blocked.

I've seen ZFS installer error out on a test install for 24.7 once, but a dozen other installs following this to reproduce for UFS and ZFS were all fine. No idea what happened.

Cheers,
Franco
