I logged into the Web GUI and proceeded to start the upgrade from 16.7.7 to 16.7.8 - at first it wanted to just update "pkg" so I did that and did another update check. It then found all the new packages and started the upgrade.

Now it's stuck on "Restarting webConfigurator..." and hasn't changed for over 10minutes. Any idea how long I should wait before refreshing the page to see what's happened, or can I check it some other way?

Hi Taomyn,

You can always hit reload on the browser, it's perfectly safe nowadays. This will attach back to the upgrade progress or will show a normal page if the upgrade was finished.

Next step is the dashboard to check versions, most likely upgraded fine to 16.7.8?

To be perfectly sure, the console option 12) will attempt to run all possible updates again. If it doesn't want to update, all is well. :)

Cheers,
Franco

It seems to have replaced my own certificate with a brand new self-signed one, but the dashboard does show it upgraded.

I'll option 12 and see what happens, maybe reboot and then sort out the certificate

All is well again, after assigning my own certificate then rebooting everything looks to be ok now.

Glad to hear. Is there any indication in the System: Configuration: History page as to why the system regenerated a certificate for you?

I'm not sure, which of these should I compare as nothing seems to make sense to me - I attached a screen shot

It's hard to tell if the base migration did this or the HAProxy. I will keep an eye out for similar reports.

Thanks,
Franco
