Yes, you can wait for 24.1.9 (1-2 weeks) or install the snapshot package with the opnsense-revert command now. It's unlikely to receive more fixes given the circumstances.

For the sake of having another data point, I figured I'd report back. I ran the opnsense-revert command, restarted the service, and everything works perfectly.
