Hello, I am trying to connect opnvpn link between opensense (23.7.11) as server and mikrotik hexS (6.49.11) as client. I get the error disconnected <unkown cipher alg or key size> --- terminating ...... An almost identical configuration works for me when it is on the pfsense server. What am I doing wrong? Is there any tutorial.

Networking is love. You may hate it, but in the end, you always come back to it.

N100   - i226-V | Crucial 16G  4800 DDR5 | S 980 500G - PROD

Tried everything I could think of but it doesn't work. Unfortunately for me according to pfsense it works.

Which box gave you that message, Mikrotik or Opnsense?

What, if any, changes were needed or made on the hex S as part of this change? Was it touched at all? Have you asked on the Mikrotik forum as well? From what I have seen they usually ask for a dump of your Mikrotik configuration to check.

Can you show non-secure parts of your Opnsense configuration related to OPNVPN?

These comments are just prompts for more information which may enable someone to give more help. I do not use, am not familiar with, OPNVPN myself.

I have to give up on opnsense solutions again. I have to wait for someone to post the instructions for the mikrotik OPNVPN tunnel as an Opensense client. By the way, I have two systems, one is Pfsense, the other should have been Opensens. What I succeed in the first does not work in the second. For some reason the selected Cipher does not work for me. Thanks for your help.
