ISP VLAN on WAN
«

Hi All,
Changed ISP today and of course my internet stopped working. Previous ISP used PPPoE the new provider uses DHCP but requires a VLan ID 10 to be set. Unfortunately there is no such option in the OPNSense WAN interface.
Any has an idea on how to set up opnsense with the settings in the file attached?
Thanks,
Martin

Sounds like Contact Energy is your ISP? I'm using Spark with PPPOE on VLAN 10.
Have you set up VLAN on your interface? Interfaces --> Other Types --> VLAN. Then create a new device over your WAN port with VLAN = 10.
It's been a while since I did the rest, but I think, on Interfaces --> Assignments set WAN to your VLAN, and then set the WAN parameters in Interfaces --> WAN

Yes, it is Contact Energy. I just setup a VLan with the tag 10 and assigned it to a new interface which is connected to the interface the ONT is plugged in to. However, the new interface shows 0.0.0.0 as the IP on the Dashboard. Not sure what I've done wrong.

Ok, think I got it.
That's what I did. Go to Interfaces-->Other Types-->VLAN and set up a VLAN with the Tag 10. Assign to the interface that has the connection from the ONT.
Go to Interfaces-->WAN-->Set to DHCP
Go to Interfaces-->Assignments--> Set the WAN interface to the newly created VLAN
