I think you ended up pulling suricata 7.0.x from FreeBSD?

# suricata --build | grep -i -e hyper -e RELEASE
This is Suricata version 6.0.15 RELEASE
  Hyperscan support:                       yes

This is on 23.7.7.

If so, run:

# opnsense-revert suricata

Again FreeBSD repo is not good...
