Upgraded for 23.7.5 to 23.7.6. Now have no internet (from ssh console cannot ping 1.1.1.1) and cannot use opnsense-revert. I don't have time to fix so I reinstalled 23.7, and restored backup configuration. Now I have internet, but I need wireguard so I need to upgrade, but I want to go to 23.7.5 NOT 23.7.6. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you

Don't know offhand if there's a way to only update to s previous version, but I don't believe there was anything in 23.7.6 that would cause internet loss.

What does your setup look like?  Are you using PPPoE, multiple WAN, WG client?  What did your WAN show for it's status?

Thank you for replying.

Yes I have PPPoE and all the other things you mentioned, but I managed to get it to work. It was strange, I had to disable the interfaces one by one and then enable them again, and after each enabled I rebooted. No changes to setting were made. Still have some ddclient issues but at least 90% functionality is back.

Need to read these threads, including the Github link.

You won't be able to continue with Wireguard in its old state otherwise, there will  issues when you reboot.

No need to disable interfaces - you can get things running by disabling/enabling Wireguard in the GUI - but the main issue still needs to be addressed - depending on how your config looks like.

Did you maybe never set the PPPoE gateway to be the default gateway? We removed mpd5 configuration option to set a default route from the daemon as it would interfere with multi-WAN scenarios.

Maybe related to my problem on 23.7.5?
