Just to let everyone know I just updated to the newest version as it dropped onto my Opnsense. I am now on  23.7.2 and the DHCP service is starting without and issue and handing out leases. It must have been something with that prior release.

I would still do some SMART tests on your drive.  I also forgot to ask if you were running zfs or ufs.  I'm wondering if the upgrade process fixed whatever happened to have gotten corrupted during the power loss.

So I did go ahead and install the Smart plugin and it came back with zero errors even after running some self tests. I am actually not sure what the file system is. I'll have to check.
