Do I still need os-ddclient plugin?

Do i still need to os-ddclient plugin if I have successfully moved to the OPNSense backend vs the ddclient backend?

Technically "os-ddclient" holds the code for the OPNsense backend so you still need it. You wouldn't need "ddclient" but since it's a dependency of "os-ddclient" there is no way to remove it without removing "os-ddclient" as well which is what you don't want because the backend code would be gone as well.
