DEC3840 - fan replacement

Hello,

I'd like to swap my dec3840 fan with noctua's as the noise is driving me crazy...
Anyone can give me specs for ordering the right one?

I'm looking for dimensions, voltage, number of pins etc.

Any help is highly appreciated. Also, my FW runs at ~50°C, at what temperature yours are running?

Hi NW4FUN,

I would not recommend changing the fan yourself.
Perhaps it's best to contact us at support@opnsense.com.

Also, I don't know when you bought this device, but the current models have a low noise fan.
The other alternative would be our desktop range (DEC840), essentially the same product but in a fan-less desktop enclosure.
