I've used Proton for years.   it works on opnsense just fine

I get thousands of replay attacks using UDP.   so I always used TCP

I didn't say it is not working, but in the interface shows "failed". ProtonVPN TCP das not connect at all here.

disabled IP6.   and verify its setup to be monitored . or not

Thx, i already tried all that.With monitoring, without, IPv6 Proton gateway disabled, enabled ..
What helped for me, opnsense completely reset, and completely new configuration all of the settings.

Nope, I use OpenVPN with ProtonVPN and cicada and it works, and disable IPv6, can you share the client settings ?
