cant remote into opn sense via web browser

my pc is connected through Ethernet to the Lan side of the opn sense router. the opn sense router is connected via Wan to my home router. on my pc i am getting a auto config ipv4 : 169.254.74.xxx and on the pc have no default gateway. nothing custom has been added to my home router or pc firewall.

Are you sure you did not switch interfaces? A fresh OPNsense default installation runs a DHCP server in the 192.168.1.0/24 network so your PC should definitely get an address.

No i reset it to default and it set the ip to 192.168.1.1 which is the same as the home router. I changed it it 192.168.1.2 and still cant remote in
