Installing OPNsense 22.x on Proxmox 7.2ve

I have read through several of the messages on here already, was looking for something 'pinned' on this.  I would like to do the install in the best possible setup for efficiency and reliability.  As well as being able to use the QEMU agent and such to monitor things. 

Is there a 'sanctioned' or 'from the developers' guide for this?  Many of the installation pages that I have read are inconsistent when it comes to basic Proxmox VM setup.  Some have 1 additional VMBR and others have 2 (there is one by default on Promox for mgmt. port).  This is how I would prefer to do this (as the mgmt. port would be on my LAN).

I am currently running pfSense 2.6.0 on an HP t620+ ThinClient with an added 2-port NIC (which port0=WAN, port1=LAN, on-board NIC disabled).  From LAN port goes into Netgear ORBI (in AP mode).  Everything is working

I would like to virtualize router/firewall on a system with IOMMU capability for Proxmox and a 4-port NIC added and maybe WiFi (later).  I was looking at DDWRT and OPNsense and some interesting articles online about OPNsesne vs. pfSense.

I used this guys howto and it worked perfectly

I did also get another dual port ethernet specifically to do a PCI passthru (to isolate the card from the PROXMOX hypervisor)
