Sudden Shutdown
« on: August 10, 2022, 06:30:02 pm »
Suddenly this morning the internet went down. The old Dell box I use to run OPNSense was found to be powered off. Turning the system on quickly restored service.

While I suspect flakey hardware is the root cause, I would like to find some evidence in the logs. Any thoughts on what I might find and where I might look?

Thanks,
AustinPowered

Check the system log. Maybe temperature and SMART values as well.
