Hi

Currently i m running the following configuration on an Esxi Environment 7.0U3
- 4Nic 1000 Mbits/s, duplex intégral
- 2Nic 10000 Mbits/s, duplex intégral

Software:
OPNsense 22.1.6-amd64
FreeBSD 13.0-STABLE

The network esxi are configured for 10G cards with the driver vmxnet3

But from opnsense the card seems not supporting 10g cards.

Any ideas ?
Thanks by advance

What exactly does OPNsense show you as the interface speed?

I have OPNsense running on Proxmox VE and it shows "10Gbase-T <full duplex>" on all interfaces.
I also have one OPNsense VM running on ESXi 6.7 U3d, but can't access it right now (it also uses VMXNET3 NICs).

If you use the Intel E1000e NICs for your OPNsense VM, they will be limited to 1Gbit/s btw - make shure to use vmxnet3.
OPNsense: Intel Core i5-6500, 16 GB RAM, 2x 120GB SSD ZFS-mirror, 4x Intel i350-T4
