I recently installed and later removed Postfix. However, I am now seeing errors in the logs, seemingly Postfix did not get removed or cleaned up properly?

Will try to reinstall it again and disable it.

Reinstall --> disable --> remove.

No more log errors. So not sure that is working as intended?

If you remove a running service from the system it will still run and try to spawn new processes. Postfix does exactly that although it can't find its binaries anymore.
