Hallo ihr da,

nach stundenlangen Telefonaten mit o2 bin ich am verzweifeln, entweder kann man mir nicht helfen oder sie wollen es einfach nicht.

Ich habe meine fritzbox als Modem konfiguriert, welche dann in den WAN meiner opnsense geht (Sophos sg 330).

Ich habe VLAN 7 gesetzt, WAN angepasst und PPPoE konfiguriert. Keine Verbindung.
Das selbe mit VLAN 11, keine Verbindung.
Ich habe den Adapter selbst zugewiesen und PPPoE gesetzt, Erfolg ABER: die Verbindung bricht immer wieder zusammen. Die längste Verbindung bestand 3 Minuten und den den Logs meckert dhcp6 rum, dass die Verbindung verloren ist.

Irgendjemand da draußen eine Idee? Von Seiten o2 kam leider garnichts.

IPv4 Configuration Type: PPPoE

Username und Password sind korrekt gesetzt

Ich sehe da nicht, dass per PPPoE überhaupt irgendwas läuft. Dass IPv6 dann Probleme hat, wenn keine Einwahl da ist, halte ich im ersten Moment jetzt für nicht so absonderlich.

Ich sehe nur dass da mehrfach

auftaucht. Und das pppoe2 nur eine fe80:: link local IP6 erzeugt aber nicht wirklich nen GW hat. Sehe zumindest beim Drüberscrollen kein RA für IPv6.

Ich würde erstmal IPv6 ganz abklemmen und mit darauf konzentrieren, dass PPPoE Einwahl via v4 funktioniert (wenn das überhaupt funktionieren soll?). Anscheinend kommt da nicht wirklich was an?
Oder hast du ein Log, dass eine erfolgreiche PPP(oE) Einwahl via pppoe2 zeigt? Warum überhaupt 2? So viele Interfaces angelegt?

Irgendwie scheint er ja die PPPoE Einwahl durch zubekommen... zumindest habe ich immer so ca. 2-3 Minuten eine Internet Verbindung.

Ich lese nochmal die Logs durch und gucke ob ich entsprechend was erfolgreiches finde. V6 pack ich dann erstmal von DHcP6 auf none

Ich hatte ein paar Interfaces zum probieren angelegt, aber pppoe2 war bis jetzt das einzige was überhaupt eine Verbindung hinbekommen hat

Habe jetzt auch die anderen beiden interfaces gelöscht.

Nach langem rumprobieren bin ich dann auf die Lösung gekommen.

In einem Englischen Forum habe ich folgendes heraus gefunden:
Die OPNSense wählt sich zwar ein, aber das Bestätigungspacket vom ISP kam nicht durch. Warum? Keine Ahnung!

Was ist die Lösung? RJ45 Dose aufgeschraubt, alles nochmal neu draufgeklemmt und es funktioniert (ohne Zusammenbrüche). Ich habe wahrscheinlich einfach 2 Weiße Adern mit einander verwechselt. Kann schon mal vorkommen, wenn man das erste mal sowas macht. Hehe.
