Freedns Updates now fail after update

Updated over the weekend to:

PNsense 21.1.6-amd64

Only to find that Dynamic DNS with freedns has stopped working...

This has been working perfectly up to that point, and having changed the key, reinstalled and deleted/re-entered the setup it still isn't working again.

Manually updating via the website works just fine.

What has broken?

The dyndns plugin was updated to utilize the FreeDNS v2 interface. Looks like that was then rolled out with 21.1.6.

v2 updates must be explicitely enabled in the FreeDNS account. This also gives a new (shorter) authentication token for the dyndns plugin.

For anyone coming here looking for the same question;
just replace the password (your old token, which is stated if you use 'full help' within OPNsense) with the new randomized token (after you've enabled v2) from the corresponding DynDNS in your account - https://freedns.afraid.org/dynamic/v2/

and leave the "username" field blank
