Moin, moin,

Ich habe einen cron-Job eingerichtet, der  jeden Tag um 04:26 die Einwahl über meine PPPoE Verbindung durchführen soll.

Ich habe im Forum gesucht und gefunden, dass ich den Namen in Kleinbuchstaben (in meinem Fall gehe ich davon aus dass pppoe richtig ist) als Parameter im cron-Job eintragen muss.

Habe ich einen Fehler gemacht oder "nur" Tomaten auf den Augen? Hilfe ist sehr willkommen.

Hi,

in der Regel liegt das virtuelle Interface pppoe hinter der physischen Schnittstelle igb1 (Intel NIC).
Versuche mal die entsprechende physische Schnittstelle als Parameter zu übergeben (Parameters: igb1).

Was bei dir WAN ist kannst Du ja sicherheitshalber im Vorfeld über "Interfaces: Assignments" ermitteln ;-)

Hallo @thogru

ich habe bei mir in das Feld "Parameter" einfach nur "wan" eingetragen. Damit bekomme ich jede Nacht zur gewünschten Uhrzeit eine Zwangstrennung.

Ich bin dem Vorgehen von ChrisChros gefolgt und habe "einfach" wan eingetragen. Damit hat der Reconnect funktioniert.

Im System-Log tauchen folgende Meldungen um den entsprechenden Zeitpunkt 04:26 auf:

Bei mir reicht auch wan. Leider funktioniert dann ipv6 nicht. Deswegen starte ich das System nachts komplett neu. Dann ist alles gut.
