PPPOe Perfomance

Hi Guys,
I am running this version OPNsense 20.7.2-amd64
On an i5 6400 with 8GB of RAM on a 64GB SSD as my server. My current ISP requires me to have VLAN configured with PPPOe login.
The problem i have is when configured the speed of the network port is blanked out and I am only getting 100bt speeds. Adding the LAN card where the WAN is configured, shows that it supports 1000bt but that is not available on the PPPOe configured login.
Any ideas if this is a limitation with Opnsense or a hardware issue?
Thank you for the tips and suggestions in advance.

Well we decided to support only systems with 24CPU Cores and 512GB RAM from now on.
All joking apart.
The PPPoE Interface does not have own speed settings.
Look at it like a virtua linterface you connect ontop of your vlan interface that is connected to the hardware layer. Your problem maybe is related to MTU or other problems.
What type of network cards do you use?
Please share your configuration and screenshots of all important changes you made.
A network diagram to understand how you connect your server using PPPoE over a DLS-modem or direct would be helpful, too.
