How to understand directon for in/out for Rules?

It seams that in is when you want to block an internet host you should make IN rule (the internet host should not reach the LAN interface?
Ist that the meaning.

Also what is missing, in pfsense you can put the rule at the top immediately while you are creating the rule, In OPNsense after creation.

I'd like very much OPNsense, but some things are really hmmm >:(
