Error formatting disk during installation SOLVED

I'm trying to install OpnSense VGA amd64 on a computer that I have and am able to load the live version perfectly fine. When I login as installer to start the installation process either manually or through the guided installation when it comes to choose UEFI or MBR I get the error "Execution of the command /sbin/fdisk -I ada0 Failed with a return code of 1". I have tried both UEFI and MBR mode but the same thing happened. I have rewritten the img file to the installation media multiple times as well to the same result. Initially I was using an ssd with the live version and tried to install OpnSense on the same ssd but then also tried booting off of a usb with the same img file written to it but got the same result. Any ideas?

I managed to get the installation to go through by deleting all of the partitions that were on the SSD but now when I try to install, It gets stuck at the screen where you set the root password. Everything is frozen, I can't type or move the mouse.

Never mind, for some reason the mouse and keyboard started working again and the installation finished successfully.
