DynDNS Plugin doesn't update Route53 Record

Hi Forum,
I just can't get the DynDNS Plugin to update my Route53 Record.

I Created an IAM User With API Access and full Route53 Access.
Also i created an A Record for vpn.<DOMAIN>.com.

After filling in the Key, Key ID, hosted Zone ID and the domain (vpn.<DOMAIN>.com) the plugin displays my public IP in green (as in all okay?) but the record didn't get updated. Am i missing something?
