Interfaces: Overview renaming

in Interfaces: Overview
the Interface are shown (like on the png file)
the yellow part how to rename it?

That's the device driver name, igb(x) = intel. So it would defeat the object to rename it.


Sorry just re-read the question.... I know you can change the leading name by entering a description name, but as for that bit..

I do not think, you can rename it. But why? Interface overview is one of the rare places (maybe the only one) where these names are shown. Most dialogs use the interface description that you can define as you like.
