IP renewal every 30 seconds

Hello,

After Upgrade to 19.1 I get every 30 seconds an IP renew try on my WAN port:

/usr/local/etc/rc.newwanip: IP renewal is starting on 'em0'
I don't think that my ISP has a lease time of just 30 seconds... but this causes every time a VPN link DOWN/UP

What can it be? Or is this 30 second retry normal?

Update to 19.1.1 please

Upgrade to 19.1.1 no fix

After a short night I think it is an ISP issue that I've recognized during the upgrade. Capture the DHCP packages brings:

Code: [Select]

Option: (51) IP Address Lease Time
    Length: 4
    IP Address Lease Time: (60s) 1 minute
Option: (58) Renewal Time Value
    Length: 4
    Renewal Time Value: (30s) 30 seconds
I will contact my ISP today.

But why is the VPN link DOWN/UP? Could it be a bug as assumed here:

I had a similar issue and for me it turned out that my 4G modem when configured in bridge mode configures a 2 minute DHCP lease time. When set In router mode with nat the modem got the up Adress with the ISP configured settings of one week. I verified that behavior by connecting a pc to the 4g modem in bridge mode and got the same 2 minutes lease time.
Fixed that by changing the 4G modem.
