[SOLVED] Problem with NoIP Update on 17.7.12

On a newly installed machine (based on an APU1) I see the following issue:

opnsense: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Aborted IP detection: Failed to connect to checkip.dyndns.org port 80: Operation timed out

And I'm not sure why I saw the same message with this host too: dynupdate.no-ip.com Which BTW makes way more sense as I'm using NoIP...

To answer my own question:

Issue was with "manual Outbound NAT" went back to "Automatic outbound NAT" and it works now as expected...

Hey Mircsicz,

Hmm, not aware of a bug in that page that would switch it back to automatic.

Dyndns.org is always used to learn the external IP, it doesn't matter which one is selected.
