Password set during install is not recognized on portal!

Did a fresh install earlier today and during the install I set a new password for root user, but now when I try to login with the password the portal refuse to recognize it.

How come? Wrong keyboard mapping or what?

Did you restore an old config after doing your initial setup? Only thing I can think of.

Depends on the password being set and the keymap selected earlier in the installer. This, unfortunately, only works perfectly for all ASCII chars lower than 128.

In a fresh install, OPNsense is using the us keyboard layout if that helps you. You may have troubles with y/z as well if you are using a german keyboard.
