Hello hello,

Here's the test version for Suricata on amd64:

# pkg add -f https://pkg.opnsense.org/FreeBSD:11:amd64/snapshots/suricata-4.0.1.txz

The release notes can be found here:

https://suricata-ids.org/2017/10/18/suricata-4-0-1-available/

Noticed no problems today. Please report till Wednesday, we are planning to incorporate this into 17.7.7 for Thursday if all goes well.  :)

Thank you and have fun,
Franco

Have to take this silence as a "full speed ahead".... ;)

Thank you.

No issues after a day.  apu2, AMD GX-412TC SOC (4 cores), nano.

Installed this morning, so far, so good. Alerts posting as usual, flagged and blocked rules showing up as usual. Running in conjunction with a Nord VPN instance.
overkill: Dell SFF i5, 16gb, 120gb SSD, 4x gb NICs

Loaded fine for me:

FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-p12
OpenSSL 1.0.2l 25 May 2017

I have a fairly large ruleset and had no issues.
