I would like to say thank you for the new interface: I used a fortigate for a couple of years and I find the new interface quiet similar. Not easy to get along with it (I changed the way to name the rules and added tags) but later it is more clear (the order of the rules is much more clear).

The only thing I would change is about the "automatically generated rules" list that is visible only activating the "inspect" feature...is not possible to add it to the top of the dropdown menu?

Thanks for the feedback. We'll discuss the future of the page a bit next week in our roadmap meeting for 26.7. Some things are to be considered regarding how the new rules page works and what could be improved, but the current consensus was to leave it as is in 26.1.x and wait for that overarching plan.  ;)

Hi!

Old topic, I know, but comes up with interwebs search for opnsense firewall migration, so:

Haven't moved to new firewall rules, due to lack of time to wrap my head around the process. So at this point, what is the recommendation:

Migrate on 26.1.latest or wait till 26.7 arrives and migrate in fall?

Thanks in advance!
kind regards
