I wonder what this is for and how it works.

Big red flags!

1. The author has no history on Github. There seems to be no association with Deciso or any forum member.
2. The code is a lot of Claude-generated templates from the OpnSense MVC examples and the scripts get input from various sources.
3. A flashy name "Netshield" is used to catche attention and inspire trust when googling it.

I would not touch that with a ten foot pole.

To begin with the title is highly misleading as this is not an OPNsense project so I would advise you change it asap...else I'm going to consider you guilty by association and promotion.

Secondly, I'm 110% with @meyergru on this one: Stay away from it.
