1u Home Build

Hello all,
Recently found OPNsense and love the concept.
I'm looking to make my own 1u build, has anyone else give this a try?
This is what I am looking at, advice/suggestions/critique all welcome
(yes this may be over the top, but consider it a bit of fun/hobby)
Chassis:
https://www.supermicro.com/products/chassis/1U/512/SC512F-441B
Mobo:
https://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C236_C232/X11SSM-F.cfm
CPU:
https://ark.intel.com/products/88179/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G4400-3M-Cache-3_30-GHz
(Socket: 1151, supports AES)
RAM: 4GB (Mobo is DDR4, so 1 stick of 4GB low profile)
SSD: 850 EVO
As I say, anyone got any suggestions to this build, or advice, it'll be greatly appreciated.
(this isn't to avoid buying a ready built firewall from one of the recommended vendors, I just enjoy building PCs etc. - once I am up and running, I will be making a donation to this project)
Thank you

Don't forget the 1U CPU cooler.
And it depends on what you plan to do with it, and your internet speed up/down.
The dual core might not pull IPS/IDS and VPN, etc all at once.
I have a C2758F Supermicro board. 20W TDP, four onboard NICs.
Mine runs as a hypervisor running a two core VM for my 300/30 connection.
Not using IPS/IDS as I would need all 8 cores for that.
Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the reply
Of course on the cooler
At the minute it's hypothetical, connection speed will be FTTC, so approx 40-60Mbps down and 15-20Mbps up
Nice setup! I may upgrade the CPU to a i5-6500, or similar, that should do the trick?

That still depends on what you want to enable in terms of features.

Well,
this board is not the optimum wrt power consumption and some of the components are somewhat oversized
Perhaps consider
+Supermicros X11SBA-LN4F-O (Attention: Must be hardware revision 1.02)
+ with 8 G RAM (4 is also sufficient)
+ Supermicro SuperDOM with 16 GB
+ 1 U chassis is SC505-203B
I build already the 5th system with that config and I am very happy with that (since using 1.02
)

But you also don't know what type of features he wants to use.
