dnsmasq not using specified dns on vlan

I have a vlan that routes all traffic through a wireguard tunnel.  In dnsmasq I had been using dns-server[6] option to specify the use of the wireguard dns server in the tunnel, rather than the opnsense dns server. This worked before the upgrade, but now that vlan is just using the opnsense dns, rather than the specified server. I deleted the old DHCP option, and re-entered this on the specific vlan interface, but it still doesn't work.

Suggestions?
