When upgrading from 25.1 to 25.7, the configuration is lost. DECIDED

When upgrading from 25.1 to 25.7, the configuration is reset to default. If you manually install OPNsense again, and then try to import the configuration from the backup, it cannot read it and returns an error.
How do I upgrade to the new version while saving my settings?
I am attaching the update log, there is a fatal error

Could be the widget picture, simplexml had some updates and they haven't been seamless. Try to delete it and see if that makes a difference.

It would be logical to announce this in the update announcement...

It would be logical if we know what the issue was, but nobody dug into the internal workings of simplexml to find out.
