Do you have any snapshots set in the GUI? Maybe overall disk space is low?

Since you were kind enough to reply to my post I will tell you how I solved it.
I reinstalled opnsense and ran the updates. Unfortunately this does not solve the fact that backups do not work. This seems like a bad thing to me. Too bad.
Anyway thanks for everything.

It looks like we have mostly a language barrier at play here. So I'd like to help you still and I'm sure it's on a support related question but it's difficult to understand what "backups" are for you and why you think they don't work.
