After 24.1 update no WebUI

Just updated to 24.1 from 23.7 - took a long while and I had to force a reboot. Afterward internet access works but WebUI is not accessible. I can access the router directly with a keyboard/monitor.

I have not advanced services like suricata etc, just standard opnsense install, WAN/LAN interfaces, a few basic firewall rules, NAT, DHCP with a few static and a few dynamic mappings.

Any help appreciated.

How embarrassing. It turned out that the update had stalled due to a missing .lineal.so.11 module. I ended up doing a clean install and configuration restore and all went smoothly.

I've had too many failures on opnSense GUI upgrades, I no longer trust them.  Moving forward I will only be doing a fresh install and restoring from backup.
