Starting with 23.7.12, changed to Development repo, result:

------------
An API exception occurred
phalcon/Mvc/Application.zep:100: A dependency injection container is required to access internal services
------------

The subsequent update to r1 seems to work so far.

I had the same issue. I also was able to continue anyways and finish the upgrade properly.

I also had a conflict caused by missing os-wireguard plugins. When I was trying to fix the conflict, it was bringing me in the plugins sections and wanted me to install os-wireguard (which didn't work since we don't need it anymore) but I couldn't. I also couldn't remove it from the plugins list.

I had to select "reset conflicts" and I was able to continue afterwards and the os-wireguard plugin then disappeared from the plugins list and there was no more errors after that.

EDIT: I discovered I lost my gateway groups during upgrade... Checking if they are still in the config file or if I need to recreate them @franco FYI...

24.1-r1 has been very stable and no issue so far for me (beside losing my gateway groups on upgrade, I had to recreate them manually)

Multiple VLANs, multi-wan (Starlink and fiber provider over PPPoE and another provider over DHCP), HE IPv6, openvpn server and muliple point-to-point, wireguard server, port forwards, dynamic dns using multiple providers, mdns, udp broadcast relay, nut (UPS).

Thanks for sharing your experience and workaround. I am considering upgrading today...

Thank you, this is reassuring to know and pushing me to take the plunge early ;-)
