Netgear Orbi RBR750 WiFi dropping after Mult-WAN setup

Hello,
I set up a load balancing Multi-WAN per the manual instructions found here:
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/multiwan.html
(edited) I also need to say, all wired devices are working fine...no issues with packet loss or disconnects or anything on the wired side.
I have a Netgear Orbi RBR750 "router" with various RBS750 satellites running in Access Point mode to provide wireless connectivity on our network.
After the addition of multi-wan, my Orbi network is dropping wifi. It's not losing internet connection as I can log in and run speedtests inside the router web UI, even during these events, but it's like the wifi chipset is doing a quick restart or something (see not below on what I found in the Orbi logs). During the event, the wireless network disappears for a moment, then comes back up and all devices reconnect.
I've done the following troubleshooting:
1. Restart Orbi network
2. Factory reset Orbi network and build from scratch
3. Factory reset Orbi network and change out RBR750 router for a spare (also factory reset)
4. Reviewed multi-wan setup and checked all steps
5. Reviewed logs on Orbi. I DID see multiple "internet connected" messages which seem to correlate to the events, so this leads me to believe the Orbi at least "thinks" it's losing internet. Each log entry shows the same IP.
I'm at a loss. I know it's probably something to do with multi-wan and the Orbi running in Access Point mode as the problem does not present until I enable AP mode. If I leave the Orbi alone after factory reset and let it double-NAT with the OPNSense firewall, the wifi does not drop. This is not an acceptable configuration, though.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Jimmy

As another step to testing, I dusted off the Eeros Frontier gave me back when they installed our internet. They aren't as fast or as configurable as the Orbi system, but they are working without any issue with the new firewall configuration. This is so strange. I wish I could figure out what the issue is with the Orbi system. I don't like how the Eeros are a black box.
