I'm trying t o setup imp proxy for ipitv on bt in the UK are there any resources available to help me do it? I do not know where to start.

What is imp proxy? Perhaps if you describe what you want to achieve in the firewall.

I think the question is- because I hdvr it too is how to setup Opnsense to allow for opt frombrritidh telecom in the uk I think I hdvr the upstream uio address from using wireshsrk to analyse traffic when watching iptv with the by router in place of opnsense I believe because iptv is using multicast the igmp proxy service needs to be installed but like the OP. I hdvr no idea how to configure

"LAN net" is not the proper source for multicast.

The subnet does not match. Plus it's not coming from LAN interface either.
